Two creative professions face off: editorial and interactive. In the second edition of Alligator Magazine the focus is on media creators and the future forms of presenting information. What effect do the latest technical developments have on editorial designers, web designers, journalists and users?

Studie and analyses show that it continues to get easier to find the right information at the right time regardless of your location according to Prof. Dr. Dr. Thomas Schildhauer, founder and director of the Institute of Electronic Business (IEB). The personalization of information is also becoming increasingly important according to Robert Miles Kemp of Variate Labs. In Alligator Magazine he describes his work for the Los Angeles Museum of the Holocaust. We spoke with Thomas Heidenreich, CEO of the agency HICOM, about the role mobile devices can play in the fields of Corporate Branding and Change Management. According to his view, users increasingly expect a media experience that is tailored to the device on which they access it. For a look at how such media experiences in the real world and the social connections that can be the result, we turned to Jörg Olvermann who describes for us his own experiences in incorporating an iPad into his daily routine.

"Alligator Magazine" is a free iPad magazine published by Golden Alligator. It is all about the future of content. The magazine was recommended in June 2011 as 'Editor's Choice' from the iTunes App editorial staff. .
